About the event
For some children, the first time they hear a voice is the moment they receive a hearing aid. Echoes of Hope, led by Rotary Club Zurich International through the run4change charity run, brings that moment to underprivileged children in Jordan who live with hearing loss and have no access to treatment.
Working with the Rotary Club of Amman Cosmopolitan, local medical professionals and volunteers, the initiative provides hearing devices, professional fitting and follow-up care. These give children the chance to hear, learn and attend school.
The impact so far
- 38 children supported across two phases
- Phase I (Nov 2024): 16 children received hearing aids and medical fitting
- Phase II (Sep 2025): 22 more children, with follow-up care and awareness activities
